Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can we install the system?
The software is a hosted solution on our servers and ready to go, saving set up time for installation when compared with an on premises software solution. The recording of employee times can be via the web on their tablet, mobile phone or wall terminal. All these can be connected via a mobile SIM card and system users can access the system via the internet.
Therefore an organisation with 25 employees can be using the system in one week, then users can parallel test the award rules in a further week, with another week for user training and live run.
We have previously had employee fingerscan acceptance issues with other vendors clocks. How do your fingerscan clocks perform?
Firstly, the quality of the fingerscan reader in the clock is paramount to the performance. Issues seen in the Australian market in the past 10 years are generally seen with low cost clocks and readers. We have a quality check during different stages of the project as part of our system management. Our experience and knowledge will help achieve the best possible outcome for employees using any of our biometric clocks. We only use the best clocks in the world market and all biometric installations must achive our high standards.
How do we know that your software will calculate the award rules for our industry?
We work with your HR, Finance and Payroll teams to survey the needs and complete documentation that will establish the complexity of the rules. Our years of extensive industry experience with hundreds of customer sites has given us the knowledge to ask the right questions, and more importantly we never assume that one client’s needs will be the same as another.
We like to know all the costs upfront and not have any hided costs. Can you provide this to us?
Yes, your proposal will included all the costs for software subscription, set up, training, clock types, plus help desk services.
Generally we exclude the following items which are arranged by the client:
- Installing the clock to the wall and providing the 240V power outlet (GPO). Installation should be done by a licenced electrician for power and also where data cabling Is used.
- The purchase of employee proximity cards or key ring proximity FOBS. These may be purchased directly from us as a consumable.
